Also in Spanish!
Do you have this in Spanish?
No, not at this time. We may have the text content in Spanish at some time in the future. We will keep it in mind!
We now offer Fathering in 15 in Spanish! https://store.fatherhood.org/fathering-in-15-online-learning-for-dads-sp/
Do you? Victor M Carreon Dallas tx.
How will organizations know or get a record of how many users or other specific data to document or claim father engagement?
What is the literacy level of the text......seems very text heavy. Have this been tested with young/teen fathers? How effective?
Dear Alma -- To answer your first question, the best way is to have the fathers complete the pre-post survey before and after they complete Fathering in 15 or after they complete it. Tell the dads to enter your email address or a designated staff member's address to ensure your organization can record the completion. (The demo shows where dads enter an email address when they complete the survey.) The literacy level is 5th-6th grade. Fathering in 15 has not been tested with young or teen fathers. However, the content draws upon our evidence-based programs (e.g. 24/7 Dad), which have been found effective with that population. Let us know whether you have any other questions.
What is the cost for a subscription?
Is it per center, per classroom, or per agency?
The cost is $199 per year, per location. So if your organizations operates 3 separate centers or locations, you'd require 2 subscriptions.
Is this considered a research-based program?
This program was developed using content from NFI research and evidence-based programs, however Fathering in 15 has not undergone a research study itself.
Thanks so much for offering Fathering in 15. I will be very instrumental in my efforts of helping bring fatherhood awareness to our community.
Great presentation and looks easy to navigate through.
We're so glad to hear that! Please let us know if you have any questions as you proceed with subscribing for the tool.
Is there a way to preview the information in each section before subscribing? Also, do you offer any discounts for non-profits?
Hi Ellen, please email me at msteward[at]fatherhood.org for more information on previewing. As we are a non-profit organization ourselves, we do not offer discounts on the tool. Thank you! -Melissa
Are there any certificates given by the program for completion of sections or final completion.
Hi Daddy University, there is a certificate of completion on the site that we customize to include your logo. You can download it and add the participant's name. The site itself, however, does not track progress. It is a standard website that can be accessed from anywhere. Thank you, Melissa
Is there a promotional brochure or handout to give to dads to introduce the product?
Yes! After subscribing, you can access a promotional flyer in the menu with space for you to add your information and custom URL (Fathering in 15 web address) to the flyer.
Hi there, could individuals, not necessarily linked with an organization per se, purchase the subscription? Or are there similar resources for practitioner working with fathers on an individual basis (i.e., private counseling) but not at an organizational level? Thank you.
Hi Joyce, the sites are intended for an organization's use with fathers. If you are a counselor working with fathers, we would consider you an organization user.
Hello, I'm going to ask a question asked 10 months ago. Is there a version in Spanish yet?
No, I'm sorry there isn't, and we don't have one planned at this time.
With the certificate of completion what prevents a dad from just downloading and creating the certificate without completion?
Great question! Some people like the convenience of having it available on the menu. However, we're happy to remove that link from your site's menu by request, and we will provide you with the PDF file for customization.
We utilize your fatherhood curriculum in a non-profit setting. Have you had any problems with dads not wanting to use the app because of the lack of the data on their phones or tablets?
Hello Faye, I have not personally heard this. An alternate option is for the dads to use free wifi at a local restaurant, or to connect to their wifi at their home if available.
